Les Mills
I completed this project while working at metakinetic

UI development for one of the world's best-known fitness brands
Les Mills is the global fitness brand behind programmes like BodyPump and BodyCombat. While at Metakinetic, I contributed UI development to their online experience as part of a cross-functional delivery team. This project involved working with multiple ecommerce initiatives including brands like Lowepro, SanDisk, and M&S.
Please note: Over time, websites may be updated, rebranded, or taken offline. This site is no longer available in the state I originally created it.
The solution
My role focused on delivering responsive UI components for Les Mills' ecommerce platform, implementing designs as clean HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with a focus on accessibility and performance.
I developed reusable UI components that aligned with the established design system, ensuring consistency across multiple pages and user flows.
I optimized frontend performance by refactoring existing components to reduce redundancy and improve rendering efficiency, resulting in a 20% faster load time for key pages.
I collaborated with UX designers to implement complex interactive elements including filtering systems and dynamic content displays.
